Spire of the Stars

How to reach

1. Complete Spire of Insight and speak to the astronomer NPC at Greymane Ridge.
2. Travel at night to the cliff observatory; the entrance glows when the in-game moon is at half phase.
3. Place the Spire Core from Insight into the outer lock to open the main gate.

Walkthrough

1. Light the four braziers in the order shown on the ceiling chart: north, west, south, east.
2. Cross the moving star platforms when their trails overlap; falling resets only the platform segment, not the whole floor.
3. Shoot or strike the dangling crystals so their light hits the floor mirrors—two must converge on the central prism.
4. In the planetarium fight, destroy the floating orbs before the boss channels its area attack.
5. Rotate the armillary sphere until the Pywel constellation matches the mural; this opens the reward vault.
6. Collect Starlit Essence and the observatory fast-travel shard before leaving.

Tips

• Bring a bow or throwable; distant crystal switches are awkward for pure melee.
• Night entry is required for the glowing gate—set camp time if the cliff looks dark.
• Destroy planetarium orbs immediately; the area attack is telegraphed by a rising hum.

Common pitfalls

• Lighting braziers out of order extinguishes all four and respawns the entry shades.
• Falling from star platforms does not soft-lock you, but it can drop you into a dense patrol pack.
