Waterlogged halls that test resource management. Enemies apply bleed; temperance-themed switches limit how often you can heal in one room.

How to reach

Use the Absolution Seal at the marsh chapel exterior wall.
Drain the side channel by turning the three flood wheels visible from the broken steeple.
Enter when the central aisle is dry enough to walk without slowed movement.

Pick up the Temperance Chalice in the side chapel before the timed flood room.
In the flood room, hit switches in pairs so water rises evenly—uneven levels spawn extra enemies.
Optional: extinguish excess braziers to reduce heat buildup before the boss.
Defeat the Temperance Warden using stagger-heavy combos; it heals if you spam potions inside the arena ring.
Return the chalice to the altar to receive the Temperance Band.
Exit through the flooded tunnel that now stays drained permanently.

Temperance trials punish greed—leave optional chests until after the vow altar clears.
