A candle-lit sanctum focused on confession-themed puzzles and undead knights. Status cleanses help in the final chamber.

How to reach

Discover the catacomb entrance after the Duskwood side path in Act II.
Bring a lit torch or fire skill to ignite the brazier chain at the antechamber.
Speak the absolution phrase from the Greymane camp priest to unlock the inner door.

Clear the antechamber of wraiths and place their essence in the offering bowls left and right of the nave.
Solve the confession puzzle: interact with statues in guilt-to-mercy order (child, soldier, merchant, priest).
Lower the bridge by matching hymn tones on the four bells—listen for the sequence after the cutscene.
Fight the Absolution Paladin; parry its heavy swings to drop its shield faster.
Collect the Absolution Seal and unlock the sanctum fast-travel brazier.

Carry a cleanse item or skill into the final chamber; confession fog applies stacking debuffs.
Ignite braziers in a single loop so none cool before the chain completes.

Entering without the priest phrase soft-locks the inner door until you return to Greymane camp.
