How to reach
- Enter Duskwood from the western Pywel road after clearing the bandit checkpoint.
- Wait until in-game dusk; the puzzle stones glow amber along the creek path.
- Interact with the hollow stump to start the lantern rotation mini-game.
Walkthrough
- Rotate the three lanterns so their shadows point toward the central monolith.
- Cross the stepping stones only when fireflies cluster above them—they mark safe tiles.
- Use a torch skill if you miss the dusk window; torches simulate shadow direction at night.
- Open the root-bound chest and collect the Duskwood Key for a nearby sanctum shortcut.
- Report completion to the thicket hermit for map marker cleanup on repeat visits.
Tips
- Visit at in-game dusk; shadow paths only appear when light shafts hit the grove markers.
- Mark each lit stone on the map—paths despawn if you leave the grove for too long.
