Ancient Sealed Gate
A massive sealed gate requiring multiple keys from spires and sanctums. Acts as a progression gate into late-game Pywel wastes.
How to reach
- Collect seals from at least two sanctums and one spire core.
- Travel to the border wall marker on the world map.
- Align the outer runes using the combined seals in the pedestal interface.
Walkthrough
- Insert Absolution Seal, Temperance Band, and any spire crest into the outer rune slots.
- Survive the guardian wave while the gate slowly opens—do not leave the circle.
- Solve the rotating ring lock on the inner portcullis (same logic as Spire of Insight rings).
- Walk through the gate to unlock the wastes region and new fast-travel network.
- Speak to the border captain NPC for repeatable defense events.
Rewards
- Wastes region access
- Border captain vendor unlock
